Haylou Solar LS05

Design

Here is another Haylou smartwatch, the Haylou Solar smartwatch. Its a full circular smartwatch with a minimalist design. It is simple with plain bezel and with just one physical button on the side, simple and clean.

The wearable has a metal body weighing 54 grams with 22 mm silicon breathable strap. It is waterproof with IP68 waterproof rating. It is somewhat similar to the Haylou LS01 (see specs here) with a minimalist design approach.

Display

It has a full circular display with a color screen. It has a 1.28” inch TFT LCD color display with 240 x 240 pixel resolution. The display has bright and vivid colors and with full touch screen method of operation. No details on the protection screen but coming from Xiaomi, it is expected that it is a tempered glass at least.

Under the Hood

The Haylou Solar smartwatch has a g-sensor, heart rate monitor and with Bluetooth 5.0. The 5.0 version makes it a low power consumption and with a more table connectivity. It uses the Haylou Fit support app available in iOS 8.0 and above and Android 4.0 and above.

Features

The smartwatch is called Haylou Solar, but don’t get mistaken, it is not solar powered, it is just a name. But the smartwatch features some sport and fitness functions. It has multi-sport mode, it has outdoor running, walking, mountain climbing, cycling, elliptical training, yoga, treadmill running, gymnastic, free training. It also has auto step tracking with calorie and distance counter. Additional features included are sedentary reminder, stop watch, alarm and weather. Of course it has the usual call and message notifications, social app notifications.

Battery

It uses a dock charging method with its 340 mAh lithium polymer battery with a good standby time of 30 days and normal usage time of about 15 days.
